The green flashing light means that the camera’s microSD card is full. Remedy this condition by copying your photos and videos from the card to your hard drive, cloud account, social media site, etc. With the media files properly saved you can safely delete the originals from the camera storage card.
A 16GB card will hold about 2 to 2.5 hrs. hrs of 1080p/30fps video. More specifically:
- 1080p @ 30fps video and 720p/60fps use about 1 GB of space per 8 minutes of video.
- 720p @ 30fps uses about 1GB of space for each 15 min. of video footage.
- 960p @ 30fps uses about 1GB for 13 min. of video.
Specific models vary in their SD card support but in general, the cameras support Micro SDHC cards up to 32GB. We recommend using a Class 6 or Class 10 card. The Class of a card indicates how fast it can communicate to the device it is installed in. Faster cards help avoid errors and lost video frames.
